| Overview: The purpose of this New Haven city-wide specification, that includes city buildings and Board of Education school buildings, is to provide a green cleaning program, in compliance with Connecticut Statute 09-81, that includes "certified" green cleaning materials, procedures, training components, consultation services, cleaning equipment assessment and repair, web based evaluation of city buildings and school building cleanliness and processes. Such a program will improve health and safety for the City of New Haven through improved indoor air quality and protect the health of students, teachers, staff, city employees and visitors. |
